MSC Seaside arrived at Palermo today to disembark passengers before moving into the dry dock.

An MSC Cruises spokesman said the yard expects MSC Seaside to be ready in time to resume service for its July 19 cruise from Palermo, the original embarkation port for that day's sailing in the West Mediterranean.

Passengers impacted by the issue are receiving refunds based on their embarkation port and are being offered alternatives to cruise on one of 11 other MSC ships currently operating in the Mediterranean.
