La Venezia was fully transformed with more luxurious finishes
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises welcomed Americans back to Europe on its fully transformed La Venezia, which sailed Sunday in Italy.

Inspired by the work of celebrated Italian artist and textile designer Mariano Fortuny, this floating boutique hotel now offers more suites, more dining areas with space for social distancing and more luxurious finishes, while maintaining a high crew to guest ratio.

La Venezia is the former River Countess, which underwent a full transformation after being struck and damaged by MSC Opera in June 2019 while alongside in Venice.

Brand-new on the Douro: São Gabriel

The next destination to open for Uniworld will be Portugal on June 27 with. São Gabriel, new on the Douro River.

São Gabriel's entire top deck offers all lavishly appointed suites, enhanced with butler service to give passengers the option of dining at any time they like. Cutting-edge, locally sourced cuisine will feature.

The first cruise is the 11-day 'Portugal, Spain & The Douro River Valley,' from Porto to Lisbon, priced starting at $2,999 per person.
