Viking Orion will be sailing eight cruises from Hamilton, Bermuda
Viking welcomed Americans on board for the first time in 15 months today in Bermuda as the line continued to resume operations.

Passengers embarked Viking Orion at Hamilton and will sail a new Bermuda itinerary, the first of eight round-trips planned this summer. The eight-day cruises include scenic sailing around the British island territory and an overnight at King’s Wharf in the West End.

Fully vaccinated travelers

These cruises are open to passengers fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

PCR lab on board

As well, Viking Orion — like every Viking ocean ship — has a full-scale laboratory on board and all travelers and crew will receive frequent quick and easy, noninvasive saliva PCR tests.

'We applaud the government of Bermuda for its collaboration and support as we have restarted our operations,' Viking Chairman Torstein Hagen said. 'Bermuda has been a favorite destination among our guests since our ocean ships began calling there in 2017, and we look forward to introducing even more Viking guests to the island’s history, culture and phenomenal natural beauty.'

Viking resumed operations in May and has been sailing in England with British travelers since May 22. Later this month, Viking will embark on cruises around Iceland and in the Mediterranean. European river operations will begin in July with select itineraries in Portugal, France and along the Rhine.
