Windstar Cruises details ports that replace Russia, Black Sea

Windstar Cruises, which earlier canceled St. Petersburg calls on its Baltic sailings and dropped Black Sea cruises and tours, shared the new ports/itineraries that replace those programs.

'Black Sea Sights & Turkish Delights,' scheduled for May 7 and Sept. 23 with calls at Odessa, Ukraine, and Sochi, Russia, among other Black Sea ports, was changed to a Turkey-Greece itinerary.

'Cultural Gems on the Azure Aegean: Turkey & Greece,' round-trip Istanbul with calls at Canakkale, Mykonos, Kusadasi, Bodrum, Santorini, Rhodes, Patmos and Lemnos. Star Legend operates the nine-day cruise.

New Baltic ports and more time at Tallinn and Helsinki

Windstar's five 2022 Baltic sailings that had featured St. Petersburg are now revised as follows: 'Scandinavian & Baltic Spectacular' (June 6, July 11, July 26) and 'Beauty of the Baltic & Kiel Canal' (Aug. 2) added Sassnitz and Wismar, Germany, and more time in Tallinn, Estonia, and Helsinki.

'Baltic Delights' (June 13) will now feature an overnight at Helsinki and a call at Mariehamn in the Åland islands.
