Windstar 'Have You Ever' sale talks up summer Europe experiences

'Never have I ever heard the visceral roar of the Monaco Grand Prix from premier grandstand seats, or mingled with the “glitterati” of Monte Carlo before retiring to my yacht. Never have I ever watched a live Russian ballet performance actually in Russia. Never have I ever chased shots of ouzo with plates of meze in Greece, paired with an epic cerulean sky ...'

Windstar Cruises' new 'Have You Ever' campaign focuses on turning these 'nevers' into reality with sale prices on summer Europe cruises starting at $1,299.

More than 20 voyages in Northern Europe, Italy, Greece and the Mediterranean are included in the sale.

Small ships that are able to access intimate ports, more time in port and small group shore excursions are distinguishing features of Windstar's Europe.

The 'Ephesus and Private Lunch in Sirince Village' tour, offered from Kusadasi, Turkey, takes participants to explore ancient Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including its newly excavated terrace Houses. The excursion is complimentary on all 'Treasures of the Greek Isles' voyages.

'Dinner at a Local Family Village Home,' from Dubrovnik, takes travelers to the fertile Konavle Valley where their host and chef prepare local specialties. The tour is available on 'Venetian Passageways,' 'Quintessential Croatia,' 'Marvels of the Croatian Coast & Greece' and 'Classic Italy & Dalmatian Coast' itineraries.

From Helsinki, passengers can 'Kayak in the Finnish Archipelago,' paddling their own sea kayak after city sightseeing. The tour is offered on 'Baltic Delights' cruises.

Windstar's 'Have You Ever'-inspired journeys include 'Glitter & Glam of the Rivieras,' sailing between Barcelona and Civitavecchia (Rome) with stops along the French and Italian rivieras, including Port Vendres, Sanary-Sur-Mer, Monte Carlo, Cannes, Portofino and Portoferraio. There are 12 sailing dates, with prices starting at $1,299 per person, double occupancy.

'Gaelic Explorers,' traveling between Edinburgh and Dublin, heads from the hills to the highlands, with calls at the Isle of Man, Portrush, Tobermory (Isle of Mull), Portree, Kirkwall and Invergordon. There are six departures, priced starting at $2,499.
