Wonder of the Seas will debut March 4 at Port Everglades
Royal Caribbean International’s Wonder of the Seas arrived at Port Everglades Sunday ahead of its scheduled March 4 inaugural.

This is the fifth Oasis-class ship and the fourth to make its US debut at Port Everglades.

236,857 gross tons

The 1,188-foot, 236,857gt Wonder of the Seas surpasses 2018 sister Symphony of the Seas by more than 8,700 gross tons.

Eight neighborhoods

Highlights include an eighth neighborhood, the Suite Neighborhood; new Southern restaurant and bar The Mason Jar; and Wonder Playscape, a new interactive outdoor play area. Also on deck are signature experiences like The Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea; the FlowRider surf simulator; rock-climbing walls; and the Central Park neighborhood lined with more than 20,000 real plants.

Back to Europe in May then home to Canaveral in November

Wonder of the Seas will first sail seven-night cruises to the Caribbean and Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas before redeploying to Barcelona and Civitavecchia (Rome) in May for the summer season.

In November, Wonder heads back to Florida and its year-round home, Port Canaveral.
