Restart preparations

Dream Cruises said it has completely re-examined and enhanced health, hygiene and operating protocols to ensure the safest environment for everyone and in accordance with the local authorities’ strict guidelines.

These include health screening prior to embarkation and disembarkation and safe distancing measures on board; thorough sanitization and disinfection and enhanced hygiene practices for passenger cabins, crew quarters, public areas and recreational facilities; safe food and beverage handling procedures; and 100% fresh air ventilation throughout.

Prior to World Dream's arrival in Singapore last week, crew members completed their 14-day quarantine on board and have been undergoing a further series of mandatory COVID-19 testing as stipulated by the local authorities.

The ship has obtained the mandatory CruiseSafe Certification by the Singapore Tourism Board and Certification in Infection Prevention - Maritime from DNV GL.

Aqua tabata and aqua kickboxing will be led by Vikki Jonied, certified aquatic fitness professional.

Smaller classes will provide sufficient distancing in accordance with government guidelines.

Professionals from medical service provider Raffles Medical Group will share insights on current health trends and advice about nutrition and supplements.

Plus VR, production shows, water park

World Dream's Experience Lab offers virtual reality activities like a full-motion roller-coaster, while production shows in the Zodiac Theatre and movies in the cinema will have reduced capacity and ample distancing between attendees.

Outdoor recreation includes six waterslides, from easy-going chutes for families to steep inclines for daredevils, a ropes course 18 decks above the sea, a rock-climbing wall and mini-golf.

Every World Dream sailing will end with a spectacular laser show.
