Gloria Guevara Manzo, president and CEO, World Travel & Tourism Council, will provide a global perspective of the tourism industry during her keynote address at Cruise Lines International Association's Executive Partner Summit.

The event will take place Dec. 4-6 in Miami.
'With cruising as one of the fastest growing segments of our sector, I am looking forward to participating in this event for the first time,' Guevara said. She added travel and tourism account for 10% of the world’s GDP and generate one in 10 jobs.
'It is vital that all segments of travel and tourism work together to ensure we are the best partner for governments to create jobs as well as to address the challenges the sector faces,' Guevara continued. 'By collaborating with organizations like CLIA, we will guarantee sustainable growth and successful expansion for an industry that offers amazing experiences.'
Subject matter experts from CLIA’s own Executive Partner community will deliver interactive sessions throughout the two days. Topics include cyber risks, sustainability, port development and operations, shore excursions and itinerary planning.
Attendees will also hear from CLIA Global chair Arnold Donald, president and CEO, Carnival Corp. & plc; and CLIA Europe chair Kerry Anastassiadis, CEO, Celestyal Cruises, during The Chairmen’s Chat, moderated by CLIA president and CEO Cindy D’Aoust.
Other panelists include Roberto Fusaro, president, MSC Cruises USA; Mark Conroy, managing director, Americas, Silversea Cruises; and Joni Rein, SVP, sales and marketing, Scenic Luxury Tours and Cruises and Emerald Waterways.
