Zhao Shang Yi Dun starts regular cruises from Shanghai to Japan

Zhao Shang Yi Dun, also known as China Merchants Yi Dun, set sail from Shanghai International Cruise Port on Sunday to Japan.

The 15-day round-trip, carrying over 600 passengers, will visit nine destinations in Japan including Osaka, Nagasaki, Nagoya, Kagoshima and Hiroshima.

Zhao Shang Yi Dun will sail nine 15-day cruises offering the same itinerary during July through October this year. 

The former Viking Sun sailed a three-day cruise from Shanghai in March which signalled the restart of Shanghai cruise homeporting after a three-year shutdown.
