The ship had been planned for delivery in late 2021 with its first sailing in January 2022.

Last month, Christine McCarthy, senior executive vice president and CFO, The Walt Disney Co., said Disney Wish would be delayed because Meyer Werft was impacted by the pandemic, but she didn't specify a new date.

At approximately 144,000gt with 1,250 passenger staterooms, Disney Wish will be slightly larger than Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.

It will be Disney's first LNG-powered ship.
