Festivities were held Thursday to mark the float-out of Four Seasons 1 at Fincantieri's Ancona shipyard.

The event took place a year from the vessel's scheduled inaugural sailing on Jan. 25, 2026.

Milestone event

'This wonderful, milestone event is only possible because of the hard work, commitment and expert craftsmanship of all those involved in the creation of Four Seasons l,' said Nadim Ashi, owner and executive chair, Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, joint owner/operator of Four Seasons Yachts and founder and CEO of Fort Partners.

'I know I speak for everyone in attendance today when I say it is an honor to be joined by the many men and women whose dedication and expertise has allowed us to witness this monumental moment,' Ashi continued. 'And I cannot think of a better way to start our official one-year countdown to the January 2026 debut of this extraordinary vessel, which will redefine luxury at sea in every way imaginable.'

Trusted brand

Four Seasons President/CEO Alejandro Reynal said: 'As we continue our strategic growth, we are creating a luxury ecosystem where guests can stay, live and travel with a brand they know and trust. Our entry into luxury yachting is a key part of this vision, and with one year until we set sail, the excitement and momentum continues to build.'

On hand with Ashi at Ancona were Sheikh Sultan J. Al-Thani; Prosper Assouline, creative director, Four Seasons Yachts; Bart Carnahan, president, global business development, portfolio management and residential, Four Seasons; and Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO and managing director, Fincantieri.
