This signals the completion of the external work on the ship that's due for an April 2025 debut.

Two coins were welded into the hull for good luck.

10% larger

'Building upon the guest-favorite features of the award-winning vessels of [the Prima] class, the 10% increase in space provides us with more flexibility to deliver more offerings and more beautifully designed venues for our guests to relax and explore on board Norwegian Aqua,' NCL President David Herrera said.

The 156,300gt ship stretches 1,056 feet. New offerings include what's billed as the world’s first-hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide, the Aqua Slidecoaster, which replaces the racetrack that's found on Norwegian Viva and Norwegian Prima, plus a bevy of new food and beverage choices

Norwegian Aqua is scheduled to sail weeklong Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral.
