Haake adds CEO duties in addition to his managing director role. The shipyard group said Fetten has completed his contract and thanked him for his commitment over the past three years, which included the delivery of Crystal Endeavor, progress on Global Dream and, not least, managing during the difficult pandemic conditions.
The new supervisory board consists of Joachim Hagemann as chairman; Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, chairman and CEO, Genting Hong Kong; Chris Chan, CFO, Genting HK; Mona Lai, general counsel, Genting HK; and two employee representatives of the shipyards.
Four managing directors
Joining Haake as additional managing directors are Colin Au, group president and deputy CEO, Genting HK; Gustaf Grönberg, EVP marine operations and newbuilding, Genting HK; and Peter Andersson, COO, MV Werften. All have been deeply involved in newbuilds during the past five years.
Focus on delivering Global Dream, completing financing for next Global ship
The Genting HK-owned shipyards group said it is focused on delivering Global Dream in 2022 and completing financing for the second Global-class ship, now due in 2024. In June, MV Werften made the first partial repayment of €193m for bridge funding from Germany's Economic Stabilization Fund.
