That will be an 11-night Black Sea itinerary. Passengers who were to embark the cruise scheduled to begin Wednesday in Savona are being contacted by Costa Crociere.

The company is providing a 25% reimbursement for the cruise fare plus a €100 on-board credit. Passengers who have already traveled to Savona will get two nights accommodation in a four-star hotel until embarkation.

Costa Deliziosa has remained in Valencia since Sunday evening when a technical failure caused a blackout lasting several hours while the vessel was alongside.

Passengers were given free tours in Valencia, compensation and care team assistance with travel arrangements. Costa said their disembarkation was being completed Tuesday afternoon.

As earlier reported, those scheduled to embark at Civitavecchia today are being compensated and were given several alternative travel options.
