Royal Caribbean & Celebrity select Chris-Marine for engine maintenance

Royal Caribbean Group has chosen Chris-Marine USA to supply critical engine maintenance machines for several Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises vessels throughout 2022.

The order includes over 65 Chris-Marine machines which are critical to proper engine maintenance, including: Surface Grinding Machine (CPM,) Valve Seat and Recess Lathe (VRL,) Valve Seat Lathe (VSL) and Deglazing Machine (DGL).

Anders Aasen, VP, global marine operations, Royal Caribbean Group, said, ‘We are pleased with Chris-Marine’s responsiveness to our unique business need, which enables RCG in-house riding teams to perform regulatory maintenance on our diesel engines.’
