During trials, safety systems, automation, power generation and propulsion systems were tested, and the ship reached a speed of 23 knots.

Reslient Lady has returned to Fincantieri's Sestri Ponente for final outfitting before its planned entry to service in August from Piraeus.

Greece and Adriatic cruises

Starting Aug. 14, the ship will alternate two weeklong itineraries: 'Adriatic Sea & Greek Gems,' with calls at Dubrovnik, Kotor, Corfu and Argostoli, and 'Greek Island Glow,' visiting Santorini, Rhodes Chania (Souda Bay) and Mykonos.  

Resilient Lady will cap the progran with a nine-night journey, 'Charming Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal, from Piraeus to Lisbon, with calls at Catania, Palma de Mallorca and Málaga, before its trans-Atlantic repositioning cruise.

That voyage will cross from Lisbon via Funchal, Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife to winter Caribbean homeport, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

From there, Resilient Lady will sail alternating weekly itineraries, 'Southeastern Caribbean Isles' (Tortola, Guadeloupe, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua) and 'Sunsets in the Lesser Antilles' (Aruba, Curaçao, Martinique, St. Kitts).
