This is a turnkey contract for the supply and installation of Scanship's advanced wastewater purification system on a cruise ship with the capacity to process all wastewater generated from 5,000 people.

2022 installation

The delivery of process equipment and on-board installation are scheduled to take place during 2022, partly in drydock and during regular cruise operations thereafter.

When installed and operational, the system will enable the ship to meet the highest seagoing environmental standard in line with the IMO Marpol MEPC 227(64) including chapter 4.2 with nutrient removal.

Fourth retrofit for this shipowner

Vow CEO Henrik Badin said it will be the fourth retrofit Scanship is providing for this shipowner and demonstrates a continuing high focus on environmental sustainability in a period where the industry is resuming operations.

The shipowner will be disclosed at a later stage.
