In just over a year travelers will be able sail on the 100-passenger super yacht when it debuts in January 2022.
'We are incredibly excited to see Emerald Azzurra successfully enter the water as the next stage of her build, the completion of the interior, commences,' Scenic Group Founder and Chairman Glen Moroney said.
'Once again Emerald Cruises is looking to the future and building a game-changing vessel at a time when small-ship experiences are gaining popularity,' he continued. 'We can’t wait for past river cruise guests and new customers alike to join us on board our very own oceangoing yacht in 2022.'
Maiden voyage to the Red Sea
Emerald Azzurra is the first custom-built super yacht launched by Scenic Group's Emerald Cruises. Its maiden voyage is set for Jan. 28, 2022, the eight-day 'Best of the Red Sea' itinerary round-trip Aqaba, Jordan. Space is still available, with fares starting at $3,315 per person in an ocean-view stateroom. With 'Super Earlybird' savings, a balcony stateroom starts at $3,769 per person.
88% balcony accommodations
Emerald Azzurra will offer 50 deluxe suites and staterooms, 88% with a balcony. The yacht also features three dining venues, a wellness center (including spa, gym and sauna), three tenders and a Zodiac for shore landings. A marina platform will provide easy access to snorkeling, paddle boarding or swimming.
Emerald Cruises is the parent brand of Emerald Waterways and the newly formed Emerald Yacht Cruises. Emerald Azzurra is under the Emerald Yacht Cruises brand.
