Keel laid for Explora II at Fincantieri's Castellammare yard

The 63,900gt Explora II is set for delivery in summer 2024
Senior executives from MSC Group and Fincantieri gathered at the Castellammare di Stabia shipyard today to celebrate the keel laying for Explora Journeys’ Explora II.

The 63,900gt vessel, set for delivery in summer 2024, is the second in the Explora fleet with Explora I currently under construction at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard. It is on schedule to set sail by the end of next May.

A milestone for Explora

Design

Explora II will be fitted with 461 oceanfront suites, penthouses and residences and features nine restaurants, 10 indoor and outdoor bars and lounges, four swimming pools, extensive outdoor decks with private cabanas, wellness facilities and refined entertainment.
