The maiden voyage is set for Sept. 14, a 10-night round-trip Civitavecchia (Rome). The vessel will spend the fall in the Western Mediterranean followed by winter in the Canary Islands.
44,100 square feet/4,100 square meters of sails
The 453-foot/138-meter, three-mast ship has 44,100 square feet/4,100 square meters of sails, indoor and outdoor dining, balcony cabins, a spa/wellness area and a classic yacht style.
This is a real sailing vessel, sailed by hand, joining the legendary 90-year-old Sea Cloud, originally Marjorie Merriweather Post's private yacht, and Sea Cloud II.
Sea Cloud Spirit has capacity for 136 passengers.
Twenty-five of the 69 outside cabins have balconies, including the three owner's suites. The wellness area offers three treatment rooms, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath and a hair salon. The separate fitness area is located on the sun deck.
