Viking will double its Southeast Asia cruise capacity by introducing the 80-passenger Viking Tonle in 2025.

The Mekong River vessel is the sister of 2022's Viking Saigon.

15-day cruise and land program

Viking Tonle will sail between Kampong Cham, Cambodia and Mỹ Tho, Vietnam as part of the 15-day 'Magnificent Mekong' program that includes 16 guided tours, hotel stays in Hanoi, Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh City and an eight-day river voyage.

Viking Tonle, named after the Khmer word for 'fresh water,' is under construction and scheduled to debut in October 2025.

To meet strong demand for Mekong River voyages, Viking added sailing dates in 2025 and opened the entire 2026 season for booking.

All outside staterooms

The three-deck Viking Tonle sports the line's signature Scandinavian interior design. The vessel has 40 outside staterooms with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors with veranda or French balcony.

The restaurant offers floor-to-ceiling windows, and the lounge/bar has floor-to-ceiling glass doors. A library and coffee station are found beside the lounge.

A spa and fitness center, pool, open-air Sky Bar and shop on the Upper Deck complete the facilities.
