Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line treats furloughed federal workers to lunches

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line will offer furloughed federal employees and families that are impacted by the US government shutdown a buffet lunch and afternoon aboard its two ships, free of charge.

The offer will extend from Jan. 21 to Jan. 31, every day except Jan. 25 and 26, or until the shutdown ends (whichever is sooner).

Between noon and 3 p.m. at Port of Palm Beach

Federal employees and their families will be welcomed aboard Grand Celebration and Grand Classica between noon and 3 p.m. at the Port of Palm Beach.

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line requests that federal employees call customer service (1-800-374-4363) to reserve their lunch and visit and that they provide a federal ID at port terminal visitor check-in.

The line operates two-night cruises and cruise and resort stays to Grand Bahama Island year-round from the Port of Palm Beach.
