Coral Expeditions’ 120-passenger Coral Adventurer will make the company’s first 2024 Kimberley cruise from Darwin to Broome on April 5 to capture the bumper waterfall season.

Commercial Director Jeff Gillies said record rains have fallen across northern Australia and the season is primed for a spectacular flow across the many waterfalls on Coral Expeditions’ 10-night voyage.

Kimberley in full flow

‘With a fleet of three vessels operating 20 departures between April and June, this is a magnificent opportunity to see the Kimberley in full flow,’ Gillies said.

‘Coral Expeditions is one of a small number of Australian-flagged operators who commence the season this early and it is becoming renowned as the best time to explore.

‘The landscape is alive with movement, sound and colour and the Kimberley is at its most pristine and uncrowded.’

He said passengers will be amazed by the range and diversity of the waterfall experiences on offer, which include the majestic and powerful twin falls plunging over 80 metres from the escarpment top of King George Falls, where they can have an exhilarating ‘Kimberley shower.’

Waterfall season fares

He said short lead travel fares in a special waterfall season sale are from A$9,000 per person twin-share and solo travel charges are waived on some voyages.
