Holland America Line fans can view Nieuw Statendam's naming ceremony via a live stream on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. EST/9 a.m. UTC.

The event will be available at HollandAmerica.com/dedication or on Holland America's Facebook page.

The ceremony is being held aboard Nieuw Statendam in the World Stage theater at Port Everglades where godmother Oprah Winfrey —philanthropist, film star, TV icon, founder and editorial director of 'O, The Oprah Magazine'—will name the ship. Other speakers include Carnival Corp. & plc president and CEO Arnold Donald and Holland America Line president Orlando Ashford.

Seatrade Cruise News will be reporting from the ship.

Following an overnight at the port after the dedication, Nieuw Statendam is scheduled to depart Feb. 3 on a seven-day Caribbean cruise.

Come Sail O-Way Sweepstakes

The winner can choose from among the many HAL ships in those regions, including Nieuw Statendam.

The sweepstakes runs through Feb. 17 and is open to residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Québec) who are at least 21.
