Paul Gauguin Cruises first to chart Vairao in Tahiti Iti
In 2018, Paul Gauguin Cruises will be the first cruise line to visit the port city of Vairao in Tahiti Iti, the smaller of two landmasses that comprise the island of Tahiti. The destination offers a wild coastline, ancient petroglyphs, marae (temples), Polynesian culture and surfing fame.

Tahiti Iti is scheduled on seven-night 'Society Islands & Tahiti Iti' voyages and a special sailing of the 10-night 'Society Islands & Tuamotus' itinerary.

Paul Gauguin will also reprise its seven-night 'Tahiti & the Society Islands' and 'Tahiti, the Society Islands & Tuamotus' cruises in 2018, as well as its 10-night 'Society Islands & Tuamotus,' 11-night 'Cook Islands & Society Islands' and 14-night 'Marquesas, Tuamotus & Society Islands.'

On all 2018 sailings, passengers also get complimentary access to Paul Gauguin Cruises’ two exclusive retreats. Motu Mahana, off the coast of Taha’a, offers a day of water sports, Polynesian activities, a sumptuous barbecue feast and cocktails from a floating bar. In Bora Bora, passengers can relax on a private, white-sand beach with refreshments, volleyball and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters.

Again in 2018, Paul Gauguin Cruises’ partnership with the Wildlife Conservation Society offers two interactive, educational programs. During the summer months and holiday season, 'Stewards of Nature' is available for children ages 7 to 17, and their families, to discover nature through hands-on interactive learning. The 'Wildlife Discovery Series' is an on-board lecture program focusing on the environment and wildlife presented by noted conservationists, scientists and oceanographers.

To launch its 2018 voyages, Paul Gauguin Cruises is offering savings of 50% off standard cruise fares on all voyages, plus included airfare from Los Angeles.
