Starfish Lagoon, with water slides weaving around and through a 10-story Suncastle, a beach, floating cabanas and more, is a portal for family fun at Carnival Cruise Line's Celebration Key.

Centered around one of the largest freshwater lagoons in the Caribbean, Starfish Lagoon will feature a variety of activities for all ages and energy levels.

Named after the national bird and national fish of The Bahamas, the pink Flash Flamingo and blue Mach III Marlin water slides, each over 350 feet long, invite friendly competition with exciting turns and flashes of light and color culminating in a splashing photo finish.

Guppy Grotto is a splash pad for toddlers and small children

Located at the entrance to Starfish Lagoon is Guppy Grotto, for toddlers and small children. This splash pad is a colorful, coral-reef themed play area featuring a two-foot-deep wading pool, water toys, a dump bucket and interactive features, as well as plenty of shaded seating for parents with a nearby ice cream shop.

The Game Pavilion provides a variety of games such as foosball, ping pong and corn hole, along with seating areas for socializing.

The Sports Court includes volleyball, basketball and pickleball courts adjacent to the Game Pavilion.

AquaBanas

Floating AquaBanas are floating cabanas for the whole family. Users can relax with their feet in the water under the shady canopy as they sip a beverage. Available for rental, AquaBanas come with seating space for eight, a solid table for drinks and other essentials, nonslip surfaces and steps for easy access into the lagoon.

AquaBanas are 12 floating 'private islands'

These 12 floating 'private islands' are grouped around a peninsula with a dedicated bar, so that refreshments are just a few steps or swims away. A variety of more traditional cabanas and daybeds will also be available.

For adults, a Swim Up Bar will serve colorful drinks, including specialty frozen rum cocktails.

Next to the Suncastle, hammocks will be available for users to relax as they swing over the water and take in the Starfish Lagoon views.

Beach rentals and games

A stretch of beach lining crystal blue water will provide kayak and paddleboard rentals and space for games of frisbee or sandcastle building, along with sun loungers, umbrellas and beachside cabanas.

Dining options include restaurants, snack and bar shacks, and Bahamian food trucks.

Starfish Lagoon joins Paradise Plaza, Calypso LagoonLokono Cove and an adults-only private retreat as four of Celebration Key's five portals. Carnival will share details soon about the adults-only retreat.

Celebration Key is scheduled to begin welcoming ships in July 2025.
