CLIA fills the new role of regional manager for Asia

Jiali Wong has been seconded from the Singapore Tourism Board
Jiali Wong has been appointed to the newly-created position of regional manager for Cruise Lines International Association in Asia.

Wong, who has been seconded from the Singapore Tourism Board, will be based in Singapore.

She most recently headed the cruise business development team at the STB and has been responsible for sectors including business travel and meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions.

‘This is a new dedicated position, designed to support our members as the cruise industry continues to expand across Asia,’ CLIA Australasia & Asia md Joel Katz said.

‘We are looking forward to working with Jiali as we intensify our focus on advocating, educating and promoting on behalf of the industry

in the region,’ he added.

‘While the Asian cruise market has grown tremendously over the past four years, it has the potential to catapult ahead of competing markets.’
