Four Seasons Yachts' Jan Sorensen joins Celebrity as VP F&B operations (updated)

Jan Sorensen, most recently with Four Seasons Yachts, joined Celebrity Cruises as VP food and beverage operations.

He's filling the role previously held by Cornelius Gallagher, who became VP hotel operations in December.

Sorensen spent the last three years on the Four Seasons Yachts newbuild team, first as head of site team operations and ultimately as VP newbuild.

Update: According to Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, Soren Krogsgaard, who has been consulting on the Four Seasons Yachts project for over two years, is currently guiding the Fincantieri site team.

Experience at Crystal, NCLH, Carnival Corp., Disney

Prior to Four Seasons Yachts, Sorensen was VP newbuild and refurbishment at Crystal Cruises under its prior ownership, and in an earlier Crystal stint was food and beverage director. He held hotel-related newbuild roles with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings and Carnival Corp. & plc and was beverage manager for Disney Cruise Line.
