Weir has a long history at Royal Caribbean Group, with roles in hotel operations at Celebrity and Royal Caribbean International and a stint as chief operations officer, China for Royal Caribbean, based in Shanghai.

In his new Silversea job, he reports to President Barbara Muckermann. He and Vadlau will work together, leveraging the power of Royal Caribbean Group to 'elevate the Silversea product to new heights,' according to a company statement.
Vadlau has been with Silversea for 19 years, in F&B and hotel operations, and moved up to her VP role in 2021.
Gallagher, a former Michelin star executive chef, has 11 years at Royal Caribbean Group in F&B and culinary roles. He had been VP of F&B since 2019.
