Carnival Glory returned to service in Barcelona today following a 21-day dry dock at Navantia in Cádiz.

Passengers embarked for a 14-day 'Carnival Journeys' trans-Atlantic cruise to the ship’s new home at Port Canaveral. Before departure, Capt. Luca Cherchi held a plaque exchange with Port of Barcelona officials.

During the Navantia docking the 2003-built Carnival Glory was enhanced with a new casino layout that added a nonsmoking area. Décor and furnishings were refreshed across all public areas and the ship gained a Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a venue for military veterans and active-duty service members that is being added across the Carnival Cruise Line fleet.
