A record seven ships dock at Nassau Cruise Port

Nassau Cruise Port took seven ships alongside on March 12, a record, though it has handled more than the day's 20,009 passenger count previously.

The seven were Carnival Liberty, Vision of the Seas, Disney Wish, Independence of the Seas, Sea Cloud Spirit, Carnival Paradise and Carnival Elation.

Record one-day passenger count on Dec. 27

On Dec. 27, Nassau Cruise Port handled 29,316 passengers, topping the prior one-day passenger record of 28,554 passengers in March last year.

Nassau has six berths and is able to handle the world's largest cruise ships.
