New shows, theme parties, wine experience for MSC Divina's stateside return

MSC Divina returns to PortMiami with further offerings tailored for the US market
MSC Divina returned Wednesday to PortMiami, where it will sail year-round to the Caribbean with additional experiences tailored for the North American market.

These include four new shows and new musicians and bands to play in bars and lounges, as well as new themed parties such as a weekly 'fluo' (glow in the dark) party and a 'snow' party with a snow cannon.

MSC Divina also will launch a new offering in partnership with Blend Craft Wines. Boutique Winery Tastings will give cruisers the chance to try rare wines from award-winning boutique wineries. Many of these vintages are sold only at the winery or to wine club members.

Participants in the tastings will be able to order many of the wines to be shipped to their home.

Other changes to MSC Divina as it returns to stateside service include updated casino offerings. About half the slot machines are being replaced with the latest premium games.

As well, there are new children's and family activities such as talent shows.

MSC Cruises tailors its on-board product to meet the needs of different markets, while maintaining a Mediterranean flavor wherever it sails.
