PortMiami tunnel opening to traffic is delayed
The PortMiami tunnel is not expected to open to traffic until mid-June, pending various safety certificates, according to The Miami Herald.

The tunnel has been completed and was inaugurated by Florida Gov. Rick Scott on May 19.

The Herald reports that an occupancy certificate for the operations control center and various fire safety tests need to be carried out.
