American Constellation - designed to navigate coastal waterways
American Cruise Lines has posted a video tour of its new American Constellation, giving a look at the spacious staterooms, private balconies, indoor and outdoor lounges, dining room and sun deck.

On Sunday, the 175-passenger ship sailed from Boston on its inaugural 'Grand New England' cruise. Built at Cheseapeake Shipbuilding in Salisbury, Maryland, American Constellation is designed to navigate coastal waterways.

Since the vessel was completed ahead of schedule, American Cruise Lines added two Chesapeake Bay cruises to the start of the inaugural season, one on May 6 and the other May 13. Both were sold out.

American Constellation will spend the remainder of 2017 on the East Coast before moving west for 2018.
