Norwegian Sky - Four-day round-trips each Monday from PortMiami, June to December
As expected, more sailings to Cuba for US-based operators are being approved beyond May. Norwegian Cruise Line added 25 Cuba departures on Norwegian Sky starting in June and stretching through December. This makes a total of 30 sailings, all round-trip Miami.

All the cruises feature an overnight in Havana.

'We are thrilled to be the first cruise line able to offer weekly sailings from Miami to Cuba through the fall of 2017, all with overnights in the beautiful city of Havana,' Norwegian president and ceo Andy Stuart said.

'We have seen great demand from our guests for sailings to Cuba,' he added, 'and we look forward to providing more opportunities for them to experience this incredibly culture-rich destination on a weekly basis.'

Norwegian Sky will sail four-day round-trips from PortMiami each Monday, with the overnight stay in Havana and a call at Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.

A selection of 15 half- and full-day shore excursions that comply with US regulations for people-to-people travel are offered. Passengers will get the opportunity to have a farm-to-table dining experience, explore the flora and fauna of Soroa (a scenic nature area southwest of the capital), see modern Havana in an American classic car and more.

The new cruises open for booking on Feb. 21.
