As with the 2019 vessels, KfW IPEX-Bank and Commerzbank structured the entire financing and both are acting as mandated lead arranger.

The 139-meter/456-foot Hanseatic Spirit will have a PC6 ice-class rating for operations in the polar regions. It will be able to carry up to 230 passengers (199 in Antarctica and Spitsbergen).
The three ships are being built by Norway's Vard.
