The first ship to dock under the agreement will be Cunard’s Queen Victoria from May 2-19.
The 294-meter vessel will be the largest cruise ship ever to have dry docked in a UK shipyard, according to a spokesperson for Harland & Wolff, and the only Cunard ship to drydock in Belfast.
Queen Victoria entered service in December 2007.
Aurora
The second vessel to undergo standard drydocking operations at the 81-acre Belfast shipyard will be P&O Cruises’ Aurora, which entered service in May 2000. The 270-meter-long ship will remain at the yard between June 9-23.
