The former Crystal Esprit was renovated into a 48-passenger, all-suite vessel with a Science Hub and other features. It replaced the 48-passenger National Geographic Islander.
The ship has five decks. The Observation Deck features a pool, sauna, fitness studio and grill.
All the way forward on Promenade Deck is a viewing area. Facing that is The Cove, a lounge with large flat screens. The Yacht Club Restaurant is midship and the casual indoor-outdoor Patio Cafe is aft.
Next comes Bridge Deck. Besides the navigational bridge, this level has suites and the Science Hub.
The Reception, Library, Chart Room, Global Gallery (a gift shop) and more suites are found on Main Deck.
On Marina Deck, a room for gearing up is adjacent to the Marina with its swim platform/Zodiac loading area.
National Geographic Islander II also has abundant open-deck space. Here, a spot for relaxing in hammocks.
