Emerald Sakara has been making maiden calls in the Caribbean with one today in the British Virgin Islands.

Emerald Cruises' new yacht anchored off Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda, where representatives of the British Virgin Islands Ports Authority, the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board and ship's agent Romasco Group held a plaque exchange with Capt. Robert O'Leary.

Dec. 2 naming in San Juan

Emerald Sakara is due to be officially named in festivities at San Juan, Puerto Rico Saturday, with Kelly Craighead, president/CEO of Cruise Lines International Association, serving as godmother.
