Cunard announced Queen Anne’s delivery is ‘slightly' delayed.

Originally scheduled to enter service at the beginning of 2024, Queen Anne, under construction at Fincantieri's Marghera shipyard, will now undertake its maiden voyage four months later, on May 3, 2024 from Southampton.

Cunard commented, ‘Due in part to unforeseen events that have occurred in recent years, the shipbuilding industry, like other industries, has faced numerous challenges including energy shortages and global supply chain constraints and as a result Queen Anne will be arriving slightly later than expected.’

Maiden voyage early May

Cunard has automatically transferred passengers booked or waitlisted on the maiden voyage to the new seven-night maiden voyage, in early May, visiting A Coruña on May 5, 2024, Lisbon on May 7 and then returning to Southampton on May 10.

Queen Anne’s new maiden season voyages will include sailings from Southampton to the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, the Canary Islands and the Norwegian fjords.
