Musical theatre, opera, pop and modern jazz performances will be created by Belinda King
Belinda King Creative Productions will revamp entertainment on board Scenic Eclipse to include musical theatre, opera, contemporary pop and modern jazz after signing a partnership agreement with Scenic, and several spaces have been reimagined on board the vessel.

‘We have created a collection of unique immersive experiences, designed exclusively for Scenic Eclipse,’ said owner Belinda King. ‘Each performance has been developed with bespoke musical arrangements and magnificent projection backdrops for the Scenic Eclipse theatre. We’ll also be introducing guest speakers, multi-instrumentalists and dancers.’

Updated dining venues

It follows 12 months of enhancements to several venues on board the vessel.

The Yacht Club has been reimagined to create a casual environment, with the dining area extended and a new multi-purpose food island installed. House-made gelato will be served from a new gelato cooler, whilst new large sofas will replace traditional tables and chairs to encourage interaction between passengers. New wicker swinging egg chairs are positioned to provide sweeping views over the ocean.

The new Night Market @ Kokos takes inspiration from night markets and street food dishes from Asia, India and the Middle East; Sushi @ Koko’s has been expanded to include added window seating.

‘The new Panorama Bar on Deck 10 will be the place to be on lazy sea days, sail ins and outs from beautiful locations and for spotting wildlife,’ said corporate chef, Tom Götter. ‘I love the combination of the bar, vitality pools, deck chairs and cabanas.’ His team of more than 38 chefs have been developing new dishes, including menu creations curated for the Chef’s Table dining experience.

Wellness experiences

New wellness menu and services will be available for guests at the 550m² Senses Spa, with the addition of a new manicure and pedicure area. The line has partnered with spa provider ESPA to deliver facials, massages and body treatments.

New classes have been added at Wellness centre PURE: Yoga & Pilates including a range of holistic therapy sessions – from Aerial Yoga, TRX, Mindfulness meditation and unique Tibetan sound bowl healing classes.

Scenic Eclipse will resume sailings with a 16-day Antarctica voyage departing Jan 5, 2022.
