'Cluedo! The Interactive Game’ will see passengers step back in time to solve a mystery
Alongside shows in the Royal Court Theatre, Cunard will put passengers at the heart of the action as part of the 2024 Cunard Showcases programme.

It includes drama, interactive theatre, multisensory dining and more, developed in collaboration with award-winning theatre producers, directors, writers, choreographers, and performers. ‘In conversation with’ events and workshops with stage and screen talent will also take place.

Cunard announced last November that it is partnering with acclaimed theatre producer David Pugh to bring award-winning shows to Queen Anne, starting with Noël Coward’s 'Brief Encounter.'

The cruise line first launched the eclectic Cunard Showcases programme in 2023.

Song and dance

The original West End cast of musical ‘The Drifters Girl’ will deliver a powerhouse performance of togetherness, unity, camaraderie, and friendship in ‘Kings of the Boardwalk’ on select voyages in the Royal Court Theatre.

The ‘Opera Cocktail’ is set to provide a new twist on some of the best loved arias, duets and ensembles in a fun, modern setting, as it’s performed in witty new English translations and acted in an engaging, intimate style.

Taking to the stage in March will be Rodgers & Hammerstein’s ‘South Pacific.’

Puppetry and games

The ‘Gulliver’ extravaganza – performed using puppetry – tells the tale of Gulliver, a traveller and pioneer, who returns after nine years lost at sea, with stories of undiscovered lands and creatures.

Passengers can also step into a world of 1930s high society as they solve a mystery with ‘Cluedo! The Interactive Game.’

Watson, the sidekick of author Arthur Conan Doyle’s fictional detective Sherlock Holmes, takes centre stage in ‘Watson: The Final Problem,’ as he embarks on a journey across Europe while being pursued by the wicked character Moriarty.

Circus and comedy

Circa Contemporary Circus, which will perform on Queen Elizabeth for a six-week residency, will include full-scale acrobatics and theatrical productions, as well as workshops and Q&As.

Pursuit Theatre will stage Shakespeare’s blockbuster comedy ‘Twelfth Night,’ while ‘Appraisal’ is a real time comedy drama that follows an annual professional work review gone wrong.

‘Discovering Antarctica: Heroic Tales of Shackleton, Crean and Scott’ consists of a dramatic solo performance about polar endeavours.
