More geographies and languages will be covered in a second edition of the toolkit being released later this year
Cruise Lines International Association launched a new online toolkit containing resources that illustrate how the industry is advancing its sustainability agenda, as well as other cruise positives.

The resource is accessible to all and contains information in English, French, German, Italian, Norwegian and Spanish. The materials, including reports, statistics, maps, posters and infographics, can be downloaded and shared.

Launched at CLIA summit

The first edition of the toolkit was launched at the CLIA European Summit in Paris (March 8-10.) More geographies and languages will be covered in a second edition set to be released later in the year.

Materials

The sustainability toolkit showcases the various environmental innovations being introduced onboard cruise ships, and includes good practice examples of cooperation between cruise lines, businesses, ports and local authorities.

According to CLIA it can be used to share stories and raise awareness with local communities, and the wider public, on how cruising ‘is an integral part of societies and economies.’
