Polar Routes reports a 110% increase in sales and a 181% increase in enquiries
Last month was the best July in Polar Routes’ seven-year history, with the British company seeing a 110% increase in sales compared with July 2022.

Average booking values increased by 11% over that period, while enquiries rose by 181%.

Typically quieter booking months

‘July and August are usually quiet months for interest in and bookings to the polar regions, but the autumnal weather in wash-out July has turned out to be a record-breaker for us,’ said Martin Johnson, director and co-founder of Polar Routes.

Details of Polar Routes' new 23-day ‘Ultimate Antarctic Expedition’ cruise, operated by the recently refurbished Polar Pioneer, were revealed in May.
