Lindblad designs new trips to replace Russia, with 25% savings

Lindblad Expeditions replaced voyages involving Russia with five new itineraries, from the Arctic to Alaska and Japan.

The new trips will be available at 25% savings for bookings made by June 30.

Alaska

They include 'Epic Coastal Alaska' aboard National Geographic Orion, a 15-day adventure combining British Columbia and the fjords, villages and wildlife of Alaska’s Inside Passage and the Gulf of Alaska. Departures are June 12 and June 26. 'Extraordinary Alaska: Misty Fjords to the Hubbard Glacier,' also on National Geographic Orion, is an 11-day trip offered on July 11, 21 and 31 and Aug. 10 and 20.

Iceland/Greenland

'Iceland’s Wild West Coast to East Greenland,' aboard the new National Geographic Endurance, follows in the wake of the Viking explorers. The 13-day trip embarks July 2.

Japan

'A Journey from Nome to Tokyo: Ring of Fire to Ainu Culture,' follows the Ring of Fire from Alaska’s volcanic Aleutian Islands to the rugged island of Hokkaido, Japan, on a voyage aboard the new National Geographic Resolution. The 20-day adventure departs Aug. 7.

And 'Coastal Japan: Imperial Dynasties and Modern Culture,' also aboard National Geographic Resolution, includes a detour to South Korea to spend a day exploring the ancient city of Gyeongju. The 16-day trip departs Aug. 29.
