Bids are being accepted for the American Queen Voyages vessels until 4 p.m. CT March 25.

The available assets are riverboats American Queen, American Duchess, American Countess and American Empress and coastal vessels Ocean Voyager and Ocean Navigator. Also listed is Ocean Victory as a seasonal charter with a lease expiring in 2031. (AQV operated the ship in Alaska; in the opposite season it sails in Antarctica on charter to Albatros Expeditions.)

Bids are being accepted for one, some or all the vessels.

If necessary, an auction

If two or more qualified bids are received for an asset, an auction will commence at 9 a.m. CT March 27, though the debtors have the right to postpone to a later date.

The vessels are for sale as part of the voluntary Chapter 11 proceeding for AQV's parent, Hornblower Group as the company seeks an orderly disposal of its overnight cruise division, which ceased operations Feb. 20.

The case is being handled by the US Bankrupty Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston division.
