Carnival Jubilee debuts with 5G capability

The new Carnival Jubilee is touted as the first cruise ship in North America to provide passengers with 5G capability.

This is through Carnival Cruise Line's partnership with cellular provider Wireless Maritime Service.

Carnival Jubilee arrived at the Port of Galveston Dec. 20 and debuted Dec. 23 with an inaugural Christmas sailing carrying more than 6,000 passengers. On Dec. 30, the ship embarked on a new year's cruise.

Carnival Jubilee is deployed on weeklong western Caribbean cruises to Costa Maya, Cozumel and Roatán's Mahogany Bay.

Adora Magic City is China's 5G ship

Adora Cruises' newly introduced China ship Adora Magic City, which embarked its first passengers Jan. 1 in Shanghai, is also 5G capable.
