Actor Alan Cumming will sail trans-Atlantic on QM2

Stage, film and television star Alan Cumming will join Cunard's 'Insights' program aboard Queen Mary 2's Jan. 3 trans-Atlantic crossing from New York to Southampton.

Q&A and screening of 'Instinct'

During the seven-night voyage Cumming will take part in a question and answer session with passengers and host a screening of 'Instinct,' his new hit TV series on CBS. He plays Dr. Dylan Reinhart in this American police drama based on James Patterson's 'Murder Games.'

Cumming has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, was nominated for Emmys, SAG Awards and Golden Globes for his work on 'The Good Wife,' and is a renowned stage actor both in New York and London. He won a Tony Award for his role in 'Cabaret' on Broadway and is best known for his film roles in 'Emma,' 'GoldenEye,' 'Anniversary Party' and 'X2.'

Club owner, humanitarian and activist

In 2017, he opened his own cabaret club in New York, 'Club Cumming,' and currently tours the US performing 'Legal Immigrant,' a show of songs and stories about his life and loves in his adopted homeland.

The Scottish-American is a dedicated humanitarian and activist who promotes LGBTQ and human rights. He has received more than 40 awards for his humanitarianism and social activism, including the 'Great Scot' and 'Icon of Scotland' awards. He was made an Officer of the British Empire for his contributions to the arts and LGBTQ equality.
