Carnival Splendor maiden call opens Martinique's cruise season

Martinique's cruise season started on a high note Monday with the inaugural call of Carnival Splendor. Tourism Commissioner Karine Roy-Camille was on hand with hostesses to welcome the ship.

On behalf of the Martinique Tourism Authority, the commissioner exchanged plaques with Carnival Splendor Capt. Candeloro Donato at a ceremony also attended by Chief Engineer Marco Scolaro and Hotel Director Nickos Batistatos.
