Costa Crociere and the Titan Salvage-Micoperi consortium tapped to remove the Concordia wreck from its rocky perch off Giglio are scheduled to outline plans for the project during a Friday news conference in Rome.

Franco Gabrielli, the head of Italy’s Civil Protection Department and emergency commissioner, will also be on hand.
